My Story

My journey as a self-taught artist has been amazingly enriching and beautiful... almost ethereal. I deeply believe that art should be a source of eternal joy, elation, peace, solace, wonderment and also thought provoking too!!

Deeply connected to nature, my subjects are inevitably sourced from her bounty …and hence an element of happiness and celebration is evident in all my paintings, be it the choice of colours, subject or style of rendering! There is a sense of fluidity and effervescence that characterises most of my water colour paintings…

Apart from nature, I’m deeply passionate about sketching and painting Portraits…which explains my Buddha series and innumerable portraits in oil, water colours and graphite.

I feel happy and grateful to be part of a community that brings endless cheer and joy to all around us…
